It Must Be a Boy Thing

Yesterday morning when Veronica was leaving for school, Harrison saw the big orange garbage truck outside and he got really excited and said, "Awesome!" Then he looked at the big dump truck he got for his birthday and said, "Awesome!"

Kids Say the Darnedest Things

Today, Harrison heard the washing machine and asked me what that noise was. I told him it was the washing machine. He said, "No, the Mystery Machine. It looks like we've got a mystery on our hands!" And, no, he wasn't making a comment on my laundry skills--he's just really into Scooby Doo.

Harrison also saw the picture that Veronica brought home from church on Sunday and asked me what it said. I told him that it says Jesus loves us. Then he said, "This I know. For the Bible tells me so." But he didn't sing it; he just said it.

And Violet said, "Da!"
