Tonight we were supposed to go to Zoo Boo with Veronica's Daisy Scout troop, but it was cold and rainy so the troop leader decided to go to Stevie B's (a pizza buffet/game room) instead. I was afraid Harrison would be disappointed because he was already dressed in his pirate costume when the troop leader called. Veronica wore her Tinkerbell wings to the restaurant anyway. And, as you can see in the video, Violet had the best time of all. She really likes to dance whenever she hears music and tonight was no exception. She was really getting down. You probably can't hear the music very clearly, but the song "I've Got the Power" (at least I think that's what it's called--it's gettin' it's gettin' it's gettin' kinda hectic) is playing. I think Violet will be ready if they ever have a show called "Dancing with the Toddlers." This could be her audition tape.

Guilty as Charged
Yes, you can find me guilty as charged for not updating this blog in a loooong time. Since I last wrote, I had jury duty. I wasn't selected for a trial the first or second time they "interviewed" us, but I guess the third time was a charm. I was selected for a robbery trial. Ultimately, though, we ended up being a hung jury, so I'm not sure what happens next. I don't know if the defendent will be retried or not. I was 1 of 3 out of the 12 who thought he was guilty. Most of the rest thought he was guilty, but that the police didn't do enough so they had "reasonable doubt." I agreed that the police could have done a lot more, but I didn't have enough doubt to justify letting him go.
