On the Mend

For the past two weeks, we've been taking turns being sick. Fortunately they've all been 24 hr things for the most part, but hopefully everything has finally run its course. Harrison's preschool is having their annual chili supper fundraiser tomorrow night and as part of that, they also have a raffle. Harrison saw a pirate ship toy on display (one of the raffle items) and wanted to take it. He keeps calling it "his" even though we've explained to him that it's a prize and someone else might win it. I guess I have to at least buy a raffle ticket now--who knows, maybe he will win! Violet had some Cheerios for the first time today. I figured it was safe given all of the things she picks up off the floor and tries to chew up. She had no problem shoveling them into her mouth. She can use the "pincer grasp" but then she can only get one in her mouth at a time and what's the point of that? I gave her some Cheerios tonight while we were eating supper just to keep her occupied and both Veronica and Harrison wanted some on their plates too!
