Keepin' Busy

Yep, we're keeping busy. We had an organizational meeting for Veronica's Daisy Scout troup today. Next week will be their first meeting of the year. Then we rushed over to First Methodist to have supper before Veronica and Harrison went to choir practice. Harrison is in the Joy 3 choir and Veronica is in the Carol choir. They will both sing at the 8:45 AM service in a couple of weeks. Veronica has done this before, but this is Harrison's first time, so it will be interesting to see how he does. Veronica has also started taking piano lessons. David's dad teaches piano at Huntingdon College and offered to give Veronica lessons every Monday at the school. She had her first lesson this past Monday. She was very excited. She also says she wants to learn how to play the violin. Violet has been keeping busy going to Mother's Morning Out on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I go to water aerobics at the YMCA on those same days. I'm going to have jury duty in a couple of weeks though. I'd like to sign Harrison up for swimming lessons at the Y, but I think it's too much right now. In mid-October, David and I will be taking a class at the church while the kids are in choir practice called "Scream-free Parenting." I want to know when they're going to offer the "Scream-free Kids" class!
