Harrison Math
It's Valentine's Day! That means it's time for a lesson in Harrison math. Here's an easy one to get you started. Question: When do two lollipops count as taking one item from your treat bag? Answer: When you eat them at the same time! Yes, Harrison thought he'd get around the "take only one thing" rule by putting two DumDum suckers in his mouth at the same time and saying, "See--one!" It doesn't help that it is now customary for Valentines (the cards that kids trade at school) to come with candy attached to them--so they all end up with a ton of candy. I staged my own rebellion by having Veronica and Harrison pass out "candyless" Valentines. On the other end of the spectrum, Violet enjoyed her first piece of toast today (15 whole grains, no butter).
