You Get What You Ask For

First Methodist rebroadcasts their services later in the week, so David tried to record Violet's baptism at his parents house (they have cable so the picture is clearer). His parents are currently on a South American cruise (they're also flying to Antarctica) so he had to figure out their VCR on his own. Of course, since David is technologically gifted, he had no problem. To make sure that he didn't miss any of the service, he decided to set the timer for a little before and little after its scheduled air time. He meticulously set the timer to start at 5:59 AM and to end at 6:01 AM! He may be tech savvy, but I guess he's a little temporally challenged. Anyway, the VCR dutifully recorded the 3 minutes he set it for. I guess we'll just order a DVD from the church . . .
